About: Ayo Scott is a New Orleans artist known for his portraits of New Orleanians and his large-scale murals across the city, including at the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, where he created a memorial to Leah Chase. His work incorporates digital design, paint, wood, cloth, paper, and found objects, drawing on years of commercial graphic design work alongside his fine art practice.
